Our story
Valuemate was born from a precise conviction, technology creates value only when someone truly knows how to govern it. That's why we put value in our name, and people at the centre of our model.
Valuemate was born in Turin from a simple observation, many Italian companies, even solid and well-structured ones, struggled to find an IT partner able to combine real technical expertise, continuous oversight and clarity in the relationship. Too often the choice was between large system integrators distant from the client's daily operations, or small suppliers with fragmented skills.
From there came the idea of building something different, a team of certified specialists, organised around precise areas of expertise, able to support a company from day-to-day infrastructure management all the way to the most strategic security and digital transformation decisions.
Valuemate's first steps take shape around a small group of professionals with consolidated experience in IT infrastructure management and information security. The goal from day one is clear, offer verifiable in-house expertise, not intermediation.
As the team grows, the need emerges to organise expertise into distinct, specialised areas, Managed Services for day-to-day IT management, IT Staffing to meet the demand for qualified professionals, Systems Engineering for complex engineering projects. Each area grows with its own identity, while maintaining a single quality standard.
As cyber threats intensify and regulations such as NIS2 and DORA take effect, security stops being a cross-functional function and becomes a dedicated Competence Center, structured across six areas of specialisation with best-of-breed technologies.
Valuemate joins the ICT Hub, the digital innovation network promoted by Piemonte Innova, a recognition of the company's role in the regional technology ecosystem, and an ongoing opportunity to engage with other players driving innovation in Piedmont.
The team's growth leads to the opening of a second operational office in Ivrea, in the former ICO Olivetti complex, recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage site for its 20th-century industrial architecture. Not a casual choice, the Olivetti model, which combined technological innovation, care for people and social responsibility, is a reference Valuemate deeply identifies with.
Valuemate is today a Managed Service Provider structured across four business units, with two operational offices in Piedmont and a cybersecurity Competence Center recognised by the market. There's still a long way to go, but the direction is the same as day one, reduce clients' IT complexity, without ever transferring the risk to them.
Technology alone doesn't create value. The people who know how to govern it do, that's why we put value in our name, and people at the centre of our model.
We're not a broker intermediating third-party services, technical expertise remains in-house, verifiable and under continuous training on leading market vendors.
Our managed services run on measurable contractual SLAs, we don't give guidance from a distance, we oversee the client's infrastructure every day.
We always start from an analysis of the client's real needs, avoiding unnecessary investments and proposing only what truly serves the purpose.
We grow by adding expertise and structure only when it truly helps serve clients better, not to chase growth for its own sake.
