AI Notice

Notice on the use of Artificial Intelligence

Valuemate integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into some of its services and solutions, with the aim of improving operational efficiency, supporting information analysis and increasing the quality of the services offered.

This notice transparently describes how AI is used, which principles guide its use, and which safeguards we adopt to protect clients, users and the data processed.

Where we use AI

Depending on the service requested, Artificial Intelligence may be used for activities such as:

  • supporting Service Desk processes and technical support;
  • analysis of data and technical documentation;
  • automation of repetitive tasks;
  • support for software development;
  • assistance in cybersecurity management;
  • experimental tools developed as part of AI-LAB.

The use of AI varies depending on the service provided and is applied only when it brings a concrete benefit to the client.

Role of Artificial Intelligence

The AI solutions adopted by Valuemate are intended to support operational and decision-making activities.

Unless otherwise specified contractually, decisions that have a significant effect on the client are not entrusted exclusively to Artificial Intelligence systems, but are subject to supervision and evaluation by qualified staff.

Transparency

When a service uses Artificial Intelligence components, Valuemate is committed to providing appropriate information about their use, describing their role, purpose and any operational limitations.

Results produced by AI should be regarded as support tools and may require human review or validation.

Data protection

The use of AI complies with applicable personal data protection regulations. Valuemate adopts technical and organisational measures designed to ensure:

  • the confidentiality of information;
  • the security of the data processed;
  • the minimisation of the data used;
  • control over access to systems.

When AI services provided by third parties are used, supplier selection takes into account security, reliability and regulatory compliance requirements.

Accuracy and limitations

Artificial Intelligence systems, while advanced tools, may generate results that are incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. For this reason:

  • results must be considered in context;
  • relevant information is subject to verification when necessary;
  • AI does not replace people's professional judgement.

Security

Valuemate applies security practices consistent with the nature of the services provided, to reduce the risk of improper use, unauthorised access and data alteration.

Continuous improvement

AI solutions are periodically reviewed to assess their effectiveness, reliability and quality, supporting continuous improvement of our services and a responsible use of Artificial Intelligence technologies.
